Digital Preservation Policy

JIP is published using Open Journal Systems (OJS) (https://pkp.sfu.ca/software/ojs/). The journal ensures the secure, long-term availability and preservation of its published content through the following services.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). The PKP Preservation Network (https://pkp.sfu.ca/pkp-pn/) provides free digital preservation for OJS journals that meet its basic eligibility criteria.

LOCKSS. OJS supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system (https://www.lockss.org/), which creates a distributed archive of journal content. TWR Book Publishing Services has enabled LOCKSS to collect and preserve JIP content at participating libraries through the LOCKSS Publisher Manifest page.

CLOCKSS. OJS also supports the CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) system (https://clockss.org/), a dark archive maintained at designated libraries worldwide. Content is released to the public only if it is no longer available from the publisher. TWR Book Publishing Services has enabled CLOCKSS through the CLOCKSS Publisher Manifest page.
