About the Journal
The Journal of Interdisciplinary Perspectives (JIP) is a scholarly publication that embraces both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches. It operates as a peer-reviewed, open-access journal available in both printed and online formats. It is published monthly by TWR Book Publishing Services, Compostela, Cebu, Philippines.
JIP is indexed and archived in platforms that enhance both visibility and credibility. All articles are registered with Crossref and assigned DOIs for stable citation and linking. We are indexed in Google Scholar, Scilit, and Philippine E-Journals (PEJ), ensuring accessibility to both local and international researchers. It is also listed in ROAD and indexed by BASE, expanding our reach through global academic search platforms. Additionally, in compliance with the Legal Deposit Law, print copies are submitted to the National Library of the Philippines for national archiving.
Acceptance rate (January–March 2026): 12.68% (based on editorial decisions on submitted manuscripts during the period)

EDITORIAL PREFACE
Resilient Communities, Innovative Practices, and Human-Centered Inquiry: The Future of Interdisciplinary Research
The Journal of Interdisciplinary Perspectives proudly presents its April 2026 issue, a collection of scholarship that reflects the breadth and dynamism of contemporary research. This volume brings together studies that span education, governance, health, culture, and technology—underscoring the journal’s mission to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and make research a force for good.
Several contributions highlight educational innovation and pedagogy, including works on learning intervention materials, numeracy skills, mathematics competency, and explorative learning in science. These studies demonstrate the continuing effort to strengthen foundational skills and enhance student engagement through creative instructional approaches. Complementing these are inquiries into teacher support, leadership, and loyalty, which emphasize the role of institutional culture in sustaining professional growth.
The issue also foregrounds governance and policy research, with articles examining climate change action plans, tax compliance, peacebuilding, and digital leadership. These works provide critical insights into how institutions navigate complexity and accountability in both local and national contexts. Parallel to this, studies on financial behaviors, organizational trust, and co-curricular involvement reflect the journal’s commitment to linking individual agency with systemic structures.
Health and resilience emerge as another thematic cluster. Research on diabetes education, nursing competency, HPV vaccine awareness, and psychological resilience among devotees illustrates the journal’s dedication to human-centered inquiry—scholarship that responds directly to lived experiences and community needs. Scientific and technological explorations, such as the efficacy of Moringa oleifera extracts and the review of HyFlex learning, further expand the boundaries of applied research.
Cultural identity and heritage are also represented through studies on literary interpretation, weaving industries, and faith-based resilience. These contributions remind us that interdisciplinary scholarship must remain attentive to values, traditions, and narratives that shape collective life.
Looking ahead, the Journal of Interdisciplinary Perspectives envisions three key directions:

- Expanding Ethical and Technological Frontiers – Welcoming research that interrogates the ethical implications of digital transformation, AI, and emerging technologies in education, business, and governance.
- Deepening Human-Centered Research – Continuing to highlight studies that foreground lived experiences, resilience, and cultural identity, ensuring that scholarship remains responsive to the needs of communities.
