The global pharmaceutical industry requires operational excellence amidst stringent regulations and cost pressures. This study evaluates the Operations Management (OM) practices of International Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IPI) to identify localized bottlenecks and propose data-driven operational targets. Employing a descriptive case study design, data were collected through professional interviews with two key supply chain executives and a comprehensive review of internal company documentation. Observed findings indicate that while IPI effectively applies Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory and route optimization, persistent inefficiencies exist regarding high holding costs and frequent stockouts. To address this, the study proposes targeted interventions, including the expansion of the JIT framework and a transition to a Hub-and-Spoke distribution model. These projected enhancements target a 7–10% reduction in total logistics costs and a 95% on-time delivery rate.
